One of the primary questions BYU newcomer Ben Bywater handled when spring hones started in late February was how gravely he needed to be the Cougars’ beginning quarterback this drop.

When he was able to throw a football, he seem as it were make 20 or so tosses a day some time recently his bear got tired and sore.
“I was biting the dust (mentally),” he said. “I keep in mind when I attempted to hop up to 40, my bear was like, ‘Hold on presently, that’s very a bit, now.’ But it is like the more you do it, and the more you do it, you learn you’re arranged to do it.”

Roderick reported on the last day of spring camp that Bohanon and Retzlaff were still neck and neck within the beginning quarterback derby, which Western Michigan transfer Treyson Bourguet had made the biggest strides into locking down the No. 3 spot.
Since at that point, Scratch Billoups and Ryder Burton hit the exchange entry and BYU got a commitment from Utah State transfer McCae Hillstead.
