How are championship members chosen?
The NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Track and Field and Cross Nation Committee will select and declare the members for the 2024 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Open air Track and Field Championships.
The best 48 announced student-athletes will be acknowledged into the primary circular competitions for each person occasion. The beat 24 announced transfer groups will be acknowledged into the primary circular competitions for each hand-off event.
Combined occasions don’t go to the primary circular. For combined occasions (Heptathlon and Decathlon), the best 24 announced student-athletes in each occasion based on their position on the national descending-order list will be acknowledged straightforwardly into the Championships.
